Technology for Administrative Professionals

Overview

A variety of skill sets are needed to be a successful Administrative Professional -- technology skills, communication, organization, conflict management , leadership and much more. MOSTraining's new course offerings for Administrative Professionals will address all these areas and more.

Technology Skills

As an Administrative Professional, you use technology everyday to perform your job and to communicate with others. How much do you know about the productivity software you use each day is a determining factor in how efficient and timely you are able to complete a project. Knowledge is powerful so empower yourself with knowledge – learn more!

There are features within your Microsoft Office programs that you may not know even exist that could save you hours of work over the course of a day, a week, a month, or even a year.

Are you really tapping into the features within these various software programs that can save you considerable time and allow you to design better documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and much more?

Certification

Why Should I Get Certified?

Prove what you know --- get certified! Certification provides a qualitative assessment of your technical skills. Being certified demonstrates to a prospective or current employer that you have a certain level of proven technical skill needed to get the job done. Increase your job opportunities through certification!
Which certification exams does MOSTraining provide training in?
MOSTraining offers courses that help you prepare for your certification exams in Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC³) and Microsoft® Office Specialist.
The IC³ certification exams tests on basic computing and Internet knowledge skills. This certification tests your knowledge of the basic use of computer hardware, software, networks, and the Internet. There are three exams in this certification track.
The Microsoft® Office Specialist exams test your knowledge in desktop applications.

Testing Suggestions

The thought of testing strikes fear in many. I have a suggestion for you, start small and work up. Which software program do you use the most? That is the one you should start preparing for certification on first. It will be easier to prepare for and it will build confidence when you pass that first exam and energize you to move on to the next certification exam.
Communication and Leadership

Communication and leadership

go hand-in-hand. It takes good communication skills to be a good leader. It is a key component to becoming a leader.

MOSTraining offers courses in Effective Communication Skills, Leadership Skills, Customer Service, Delivering Effective Presentations and much more!
