Drag and Drop Your Contacts

A new customer has just sent you an e-mail with all of their contact information in the body of the e-mail. In addition, the e-mail includes information on driving directions to their location for your first meeting. You can use your e-mail to create a Contact for your customer which will also contain the body of their e-mail with the driving directions. Here is how it works!

1) Drag and drop the e-mail to the Contact button located in your Navigation Pane in Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007.

Note: A Contact form will appear and the body of your e-mail message will be the body of the Contact form. You can cut and paste any information from the body of the Contact form to the desired fields in the Contact form.

2) Click “Save and Close” when complete.
